Centre of Excellence of ICAI, Hyderabad
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) is situated in the historical city of Hyderabad, a “city of pearls” and “city of Nizams”. The CoE is spreads over 2.82 acres with a lush green cover in the most prestigious and financial hub of the city. The CoE is in close proximity to some of the leading corporate houses of the country, global organizations and multinational banks.
- The Foundation Stone of CoE, Hyderabad was laid on 24th January, 2006.
- The Inauguration of Administrative Block was done on 31st January, 2009.
- The Inauguration of Residential Block was done on 02nd July, 2009.
- 04 programmes in 04 Conference Halls were initiated on 02.07.2009
- A Convocation for the newly qualified CAs was also held on 02.07.2009 for the first time in Hyderabad.
The world-class infrastructure that facilitates excellence in teaching, research, consulting and other professional activities prevails over the CoE. A state of art network of computers adorns the conference hall having latest software for training purposes. Modern amenities like video conferencing and AV equipments are part of board rooms. Spacious and extremely well stocked digital library will be regularly updated with the latest journals and newsletters, facilitating the participants in their programme. The campus has a state-of-the-art auditorium, fully air-conditioned with a seating capacity of about 225.
An atmosphere of the community life prevails in the campus of the CoE. The participants are housed in a modern complex of comfortable air- conditioned twin sharing basis with well furnished facilities at the residential block located in the campus. The calm and serene academic ambience of the campus and its lush green surroundings are highly conducive to study, reflection and learning. It has facilities for various sports like table tennis, badminton, carom, chess, swimming pool etc.
There is a multi gymnasium located in the building. Other facilities include members lounge with big plasma TV and networking facilities. The amphi-theatre is one of the major attraction of the CoE, located near the cafeteria to have light music and cultural evening programmes. All those puts a thrust on the vision of CoE i.e. to be an internationally top rated, independent and research driven centre in the field of Accounting and Finance.
